We use two bracing patterns on our steel string guitars. A standard 90' X cross brace with a glued on bridge and the 'H' style with the pinless bridge. With the H style the bridge can sit directly on top of the cross sound brace. This transfers vibrations directly from the bridge to the cross brace with no dampening effect to the top plate. The 6 strings are fastened between the two cross sound braces where they are anchored through the top with a small hardwood plate and 6 steel anchor holes. Check the images in the gallery.
